Initial Health Guarantee: We assure you that your kitten is healthy at the time of adoption. A veterinary health certificate is provided for each kitten confirming their excellent condition.
Genetic Health Guarantee: All of our Oriental Shorthair kittens come with a two-year genetic health guarantee against serious hereditary conditions. If within this period your kitten is diagnosed with a life-threatening genetic disorder confirmed by a licensed veterinarian, we will offer a replacement kitten of equal value at no additional cost.
Vaccinations and Deworming: Each kitten leaves up-to-date on core vaccinations and routine deworming schedules. Full medical records are shared with you.
Feline Diseases: Our cattery is routinely tested and certified free from common feline diseases such as FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus), and PKD (Polycystic Kidney Disease). Your kitten will come from a clean and healthy bloodline.
Buyer’s Responsibilities
For the health guarantee to remain valid, we kindly ask that new families meet the following requirements:
Veterinary Visit: You must take your kitten to a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of adoption for a wellness check. This ensures that both parties have confidence in the kitten’s health at the time of adoption.
Proper Care: You agree to provide your kitten with appropriate veterinary care, vaccinations, a healthy diet, and a safe, nurturing environment.
No Neglect or Abuse: The health guarantee does not cover illnesses or injuries caused by neglect, accidents, or improper care.
Notification: If a health issue arises, you must notify us immediately and provide veterinary documentation. This allows us to work together toward a resolution.
Exclusions from Guarantee
While we do everything possible to ensure the health of our kittens, there are natural limitations to what any breeder can cover. Our health guarantee does not cover:
Minor conditions such as colds, parasites, or other easily treatable illnesses.
Injuries or conditions resulting from accidents, falls, or owner negligence.
Reproductive issues if the kitten is bred against our contract terms (all pet kittens are sold with a spay/neuter agreement unless otherwise discussed).
Stress-related issues such as minor appetite changes during the transition to a new home.
